Ortal Three Sided TS 60HH Gas Fireplace

A fire you can see from every seat in the room. Quick Facts • Viewing Area: 65½” wide × 29½” high, open to view on three sides. • Fuel: Natural gas; propane conversion available. • Controls: Handheld remote with thermostat, countdown timer, and programmable modes; wall switch and app control available. • Heat Barrier: Included, with micro mesh screen or double glass versions. Who It’s For Most fireplaces face one direction, and the fire disappears the moment you’re anywhere but the couch in front of it. You need a fire that’s visible from wherever the evening happens to land. If the fireplace is meant to anchor an open floor plan—a peninsula between the kitchen and the living room, the end wall of a great room—this belongs on your shortlist. Choose a single-sided unit and the fire is scenery for one seat; the Ortal Three Sided TS 60HH puts nearly five and a half feet of flame behind glass on three sides . What Makes It Special The TS 60HH is built frameless, so your tile or stone runs right to the edge of the glass . There’s no metal border announcing an appliance—the fireplace reads as fire set directly into the wall, visible from three directions at once . Ortal’s passive cool wall technology means a TV or artwork can hang right above the fire . The wall stays cool enough that the space over the fireplace is usable space, not a no-go zone. The controls work the way a thermostat does: set the temperature and the fireplace holds the room there on its own , adjusting the flame as needed. There’s a timer, an eco mode that cycles the flame between high and low, and app control from your phone if you want it. Possible Downsides • The double-glass heat barrier version requires the AC adapter , so it will not operate during a power outage. • Ships set up for natural gas ; running it on propane requires the conversion kit. • The black reflective interior is an option, not standard —worth deciding before you order, since it changes the depth of the flame view. If you want the fire to be the thing people notice from anywhere in the room, the TS 60HH is the right decision. The room it’s in becomes the room the house lives in. The TS 60HH comes with your choice of five included log sets—standard, weathered driftwood, refractory clay, or English short or long—with bonfire, campfire, and aspen log upgrades, charred-branch accents in black, grey, or white, and an optional black reflective interior.
