It builds into a framed wall, so plan on finish work as part of the job; choose a single-sided unit instead and the fire faces one couch. What Makes It Special The glass wraps the fire on three sides, so the TS 77 works as a peninsula: the same fire shows to every part of the room . From the kitchen island, the dining table, or the couch, you’re looking at flame, not at the side of a cabinet. Ortal’s cool wall technology means you can hang a TV or artwork directly above the fire , and the frameless European design lets your tile or stone run right to the edge of the glass —no metal border between your finish and the flame. Possible Downsides • The double glass version and the interior lighting run on household power , so those features will not operate during a power outage. • Interior lighting is an add-on , not included on this model.
