Ortal Three Sided TS 60H Gas Fireplace

One fire. Three sides. Every seat gets the view. Quick Facts • Viewing Area: 65½” wide × 21⅝” high, open on three sides. • Fuel: Natural gas, or propane with a conversion kit. • Controls: Handheld remote with thermostat, timer, and eco modes; wall switch and app control available. • Lighting: Internal lighting included, dimmable from the remote. Who It’s For Most fireplaces face one direction, so in an open floor plan half the seats look at a wall while the other half get the fire. You need a fire you can see from every seat . If you’re building or remodeling and want the fireplace to work as architecture—a peninsula, a room divider, the end of a run of wall—that’s what the Ortal Three Sided TS 60H is for. Pick a single-sided unit and the fire belongs to one half of the room; pick this one and it belongs to all of it . What Makes It Special This is a frameless, clean European design: tile or stone runs right to the edge of the glass , so the fire reads as part of the wall instead of an appliance hung on it. It builds into a framed wall, which means finish work is part of the job—make sure it’s part of the quote. Passive cool wall technology keeps the surface above the fire cool, so a TV or artwork can hang right above the fireplace instead of a foot of bare drywall. Because it’s a high-glass model, internal lighting comes standard . The logs stay visible even when the flame is off, the remote dims the light from a soft glow to full brightness, and the same remote can hold the room at a set temperature or run the fire on a timer. Possible Downsides • It won’t operate during a power outage. The lighting feature means it runs on an AC adapter rather than batteries. • The black reflective interior is an add-on, not included. • It ships set up for natural gas; propane requires a conversion kit. If you want the fire to be the first thing people see from anywhere in the room, the Three Sided TS 60H is the right decision. The room it anchors becomes the one everyone ends up in. Five log sets are included—standard, weathered driftwood, refractory clay, and English logs in short or long—and the look can go further with bonfire, campfire, or aspen log sets, charred branches, single branches in black, grey, or white, an optional black reflective interior, and your choice of a mesh protective screen or double-glass front.
