More Product Info

One fire, visible from every seat in the room. Quick Facts • Viewing Area: 66 11/16″ wide, open on three sides. • Fuel: Natural gas; propane conversion available. • Controls: Remote with thermostat; app control optional. • Glass Style: Your choice of protective screen or double glass. Who It’s For Build a fireplace into one wall and the fire faces one direction—half the room gets the view, the rest gets drywall. In an open floor plan, that never feels right. You need a fire you can see from every seat . If you’re building or remodeling and want the fireplace to work as architecture—a peninsula, a room divider, the end of a long sightline—the Ortal Three Sided TS 60 is the one. A standard single-sided unit gives the fire to one couch; this one gives it to the whole room. What Makes It Special Glass wraps three sides of the fire , and there is no frame between the flame and the room—Ortal’s clean European design lets your tile or stone run right to the edge of the glass, so what you see is fire in the wall , not an appliance in a trim kit. The TS 60 builds into a framed wall during construction or a remodel, so plan on finish work as part of the install. Ortal’s passive cool wall technology keeps the wall above the fire cool enough that a TV or artwork can hang directly over it —the layout most open-plan rooms want and most fireplaces rule out. Possible Downsides • The Double Glass version and the interior lighting run on household power , so those configurations won’t operate during an outage; the screen version with no add-ons can run on battery backup. • Interior lighting is an add-on , not included. • The black reflective interior is an add-on , not standard. If you want the fire itself to be the architecture of the room, the TS 60 is the right decision. The room it’s in becomes the room the house lives in. Choose between a protective screen and double glass, pick from five included log sets—standard, weathered driftwood, refractory clay, and short or long English logs—or upgrade to bonfire, campfire, aspen, or branch media, and add a black reflective interior or interior lighting to finish the look.
