What Makes It Special The 250 indoor/outdoor model runs the 180 burner, Ortal’s largest built-in burner, behind double glass on both faces. Ortal builds it without a frame, so the opening looks cut into your wall, and the cool-wall design means a TV or artwork can still hang above . Ortal publishes the gas input, not a square footage; from that input we estimate approximately 1,300 to 2,650 square feet. The front is double glass, cooled by fans that move room air between the panes. Set a temperature on the included remote and it holds the room there on its own. Possible Downsides • There’s no fire during a power outage : double-glass units run on the plug-in adapter. • It needs a very long wall ; the Indoor/Outdoor Tunnel 200 is close on warmth with less length. • Propane needs a conversion kit , fitted by an Ortal-authorized technician; it arrives set up for natural gas.
