More Product Info

The fire that turns a corner. Quick Facts • Viewing Area: 80 3/16″ wide × 21 5/8″ tall, wrapping the left corner. • Fuel: Natural gas; propane conversion available. • Controls: Handheld remote with thermostat, program, and eco modes; app and wall-switch options. • Front: Protective screen or double-glass version. • Lighting: Internal lighting included, dimmable from the remote. Who It’s For A flat fireplace faces one direction, and in an open floor plan that leaves half the seating looking at a blank wall. You need a fire you can see from more than one seat . If the fireplace is meant to be the first thing people notice when they walk in—and you want your tile or stone running right to the edge of the glass—the Ortal Corner Left Side 77H is built for that room. Choose a standard single-face unit instead and the fire disappears the moment you step around the corner. What Makes It Special The glass wraps the left corner with nothing interrupting it— over six and a half feet of flame visible from two directions at once. Ortal’s frameless European design lets your finishing materials run to the very edge of the fireplace, so the fire reads as part of the wall, not a box set into it . The wall above stays cool enough that you can hang a TV or artwork directly over the fire . And because this is a high-glass model, internal lighting comes standard—dim it from the remote, or run the light with no flame at all, so the logs stay part of the room on an evening too warm for a fire. The remote does more than raise and lower the flame: set a temperature and the fireplace holds the room there on its own , cycling the flame as needed, with program and eco modes when you want it running on a schedule. Possible Downsides • It won’t operate during a power outage —the lighting and control system run on household power. • Left-corner orientation only ; if your room calls for the glass to wrap the right side, look at the right-side version of this model. • The black reflective interior is an option, not included. If you want a fire you can see from two sides instead of one, the Corner Left Side 77H is the right decision. The open corner becomes the room’s center of gravity—the seat everyone drifts toward. Choose from five included log sets—standard, weathered driftwood, refractory clay, and short or long English logs—or step up to bonfire, campfire, aspen, or charred-branch media, add loose branches in black, grey, or white, and finish the firebox with a black reflective interior.
