American Fyre Designs Milan Tall Linear Fireplace

Four feet of open flame, no masonry crew required. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for outdoor ambiance, not as a rated heat source. • Viewing Area: 48″ of open flame • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Controls: Push-button igniter with flame-sensing safety shutoff; Bluetooth smartphone control optional (requires household power). • Fan: None Who It’s For A real outdoor fireplace has always meant a construction project—footings, block, stone, and a crew in the backyard for weeks—so most patios do without. You need a fireplace that arrives as a fireplace. If your taste runs contemporary and your evenings outside run past sunset, the Milan Tall Linear is that fireplace: a handcrafted concrete fire feature that assembles from modular components . Choose site-built and you’re managing a project; choose this and you’re choosing a finish color. What Makes It Special The Milan is handcrafted from glass fiber reinforced concrete—alkali-resistant glass fiber and acrylic polymer blended into durable concrete—so it’s built to stand outside through the seasons. The body reads as one clean, sculptural monolith, and the fire runs nearly the width of it: a four-foot ribbon of flame from a stainless steel burner, visible from every seat on the patio. Add the optional FyreStarter control and the fire answers to your phone—on, off, higher, lower—or to the panel on the unit itself, with two USB ports for charging a phone or powering an outdoor speaker. The standard control is simpler and needs no household wiring: press the igniter, set the flame where you want it, and the flame-sensing shutoff closes the gas if the fire ever goes out. Possible Downsides • Smartphone control is an upgrade, not standard , and it requires household power at the fireplace. • Fire glass and other media are sold separately ; the glass shown in photos doesn’t come with the unit. • It stands tall by design ; for the same flame at a lower profile, look at the Milan Low Linear. If you want the fire itself to be the architecture of your patio, the Milan Tall Linear is the right decision. The evenings that used to end at sunset become the ones nobody wants to leave. The Milan Tall Linear comes in seven handcrafted finishes—White Aspen, Café Blanco, Black Lava, Smoke, Travertine, Dark Basalt, and Light Basalt—runs on natural gas or propane, and takes an optional smartphone control and a fitted vinyl cover.
