More Product Info

The fireplace your whole backyard gathers around. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for ambiance, not as a heat source. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Controls: Match-lit or remote, depending on the burner you choose. • Fan: None Who It’s For An evening outside usually ends when the chill arrives—people drift indoors, and the patio you set up for company empties by nine. A firetable warms the chairs pulled up to it; the rest of the yard is on its own. You need a fire with enough presence to anchor the whole space . If you’re building an outdoor room meant for a crowd, and you want the fire to be the first thing people see, the Grand Phoenix is the one. Choose a smaller feature and the fire is an accent; choose this one and it’s the reason people stay outside. What Makes It Special The Grand Phoenix is handcrafted from glass fiber reinforced concrete—durable concrete blended with alkali-resistant glass fiber, made to sit out in the weather year after year. It arrives as modular components that assemble on site, so you get the presence of a masonry fireplace without a masonry project. At more than nine feet wide, with an extended bullnose hearth included , it reads as architecture, not an accessory—and inside, a herringbone-patterned liner frames the fire the way a traditional brick firebox would. Order it vent-free and you can place it in a lanai or other covered outdoor area , so the fire lives in the outdoor room you use most. The hearth can also be ordered recessed and unfinished, ready for your own tile or stone, so the finished fireplace matches the hardscape around it. Possible Downsides • Built for atmosphere, not rated heat —it’s an open fire, and the warmth stays with the seats gathered close to it. • Remote control comes only with the vent-free burner systems; the vented burner lights by match or manual valve. • The arched scroll screen, protector plate, and chimney rain vent cap are accessories sold separately. If you want the fire itself to be the architecture of your backyard, the Grand Phoenix is the right decision. The patio becomes the room your house lives in on summer nights—and the reason autumn evenings run long. The Grand Phoenix comes in seven finishes—White Aspen, Café Blanco, Smoke, Black Lava, Travertine, Dark Basalt, and Light Basalt—in vented or vent-free versions, with Charred Oak or Charred Frontier Oak log sets, a choice of burner systems for natural gas or propane, a recessed-hearth option for your own stone or tile, and a matching arched scroll screen, protector plate, and chimney rain vent cap.
