Pick a standard open pit instead and the smoke keeps choosing the seating chart. That’s the problem the Timberwolf Smokeless Fire Pit was built to solve. What Makes It Special The Timberwolf breathes differently than an ordinary pit. Air pulls in through the vents around the base, moves through the bottom and up the sides, and feeds the fire again through a second row of holes near the rim. That dual-layer burn zone produces a hotter, smoke-reduced fire —and because it works during start-up and burn-down too, the fire behaves the same from the first match to the last coals, not just at full blaze . Living with it is just as simple. Ash falls into a drop-in, removable ash tray , so cleanup is lifting a tray out instead of scooping a basin. Burn wood or pellets for warmth, or add charcoal and cook over it. The carry handle and light weight mean the same pit that anchors the patio can leave for the weekend. Possible Downsides • Phantom black comes only in the medium 18" size ; the large 22" Timberwolf is offered in stainless steel only. • Cooking takes the optional cast iron grid ; it is not included with the pit.
