If you want the fire to be the reason evenings move outside, and the table to look like it was made for the space, the River Rectangle Firetable is the one. Pick a single-finish table instead and you’ll live with almost-matching. What Makes It Special The River is built in two pieces you finish separately —a top and a base, each available in any of seven hand-applied concrete finishes. A Black Lava top can sit on a Light Basalt base, or the whole table can run one tone. That’s the difference between buying a firetable and composing one for your hardscape. The table itself is glass fiber reinforced concrete—concrete strengthened with glass fiber and acrylic polymer— built to sit outside year-round . The three-foot flame adjusts from a low glow for dinner to full height when the evening turns cold. Add the optional FyreStarter upgrade and the fire becomes a control on your phone : on, off, high, low—plus two USB ports right at the table for charging. Possible Downsides • No room inside for a propane tank —propane setups use a separate tank; a matching tank/end table and a 10 ft extension hose are available. • The smartphone control option requires 120V power run to the table. • The curved glass wind guard is sold separately , not included.
