American Fyre Designs Reclaimed Wood Contempo Rectangle Gas Fire Pit

A reclaimed-wood table with a fire burning in the middle of it. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for outdoor ambiance, not as a heat source. • Viewing Area: 24″ linear flame down the center of the table. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Controls: Adjustable flame height at the table; smartphone control optional. • Fan: None Who It’s For You want the table on the patio to look like wood—weathered planks, real grain—but wood and open flame don’t share a tabletop. You need a firetable that looks like reclaimed wood and is made of something fire can’t hurt . If you picture friends with drinks around a low table and flames at the center of it, this is your format. The Reclaimed Wood Contempo Rectangle gives you the fire and the wood look in one piece; a plain concrete table gives you only the fire. What Makes It Special The top is glass fiber reinforced concrete, cast and finished to read as reclaimed wood —French Barrel Oak or Silver Pine—on a Black Lava base. Rain, sun, and heat that would ruin a real wood table don’t touch it, so the piece can sit out year-round and still look like it came from a barn. It sits at coffee-table height with the flame in a linear run down the middle, and the flame adjusts: down to a glow for conversation, up against the evening chill. The optional FyreStarter control lets you run the fire from your phone and adds two USB ports for charging at the table. Possible Downsides • No room inside for a propane tank; on propane, the tank lives outside the unit in the optional matching tank/end table. • The base comes in Black Lava only; the wood look is the tabletop, not the whole piece. • The smartphone control requires household power at the patio; the standard valve does not. If you want a fire at the center of a table that looks like it was milled from an old barn, the Reclaimed Wood Contempo Rectangle is the right decision. Summer nights end around it instead of inside. Choose a French Barrel Oak or Silver Pine top, then fill the burner with Fyre Glass, Reflective Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems, Diamond Nuggets, creekstones, river rock, fyre spheres, or a log set; protective covers and a matching tank/end table are also available.
