American Fyre Designs Cosmopolitan Round Gas Fire Pit

Everyone faces the fire, and nobody sees the tank. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for outdoor ambiance, not as a heat source. • Viewing Area: 360°—the fire sits in the center of the table. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane (a standard 5-gallon tank fits inside the base; tank not included). • Controls: Battery push-button starter with adjustable flame height; phone and remote control optional. • Fan: None Who It’s For A portable fire pit means a propane tank sitting in plain view and a hose running across the pavers, and the evening drifts inside as soon as the air cools. You need a fire that’s furniture first —a real table people pull chairs around, with the fuel out of sight. If you host on the patio and want the fire at the center of the conversation instead of off to the side, the Cosmopolitan Round is the one. Settle for the tank-beside-it setup and you’ll keep rearranging chairs around it; choose this one and the fire is the table. What Makes It Special The whole table is handcrafted glass fiber reinforced concrete—alkali-resistant glass fiber and acrylic polymer blended into durable concrete—so it has the look and presence of cast stone and is built to sit outside year-round . On propane, a standard 5-gallon tank rides inside the base behind an access door with a retention frame—no hose across the patio, no tank parked beside the table. On natural gas, it connects to the house line and never needs a refill. The flame height adjusts, so you can hold it low through dinner and bring it up when the night turns cold. Add the optional Bluetooth upgrade and the fire runs from your phone, with two USB ports for charging whatever your guests carried out with them. Possible Downsides • Fire media is sold separately —glass, gems, stones, or a log set is chosen when you order. • The phone-control upgrade needs household power run to the table; the standard starter runs on a battery and needs none. • It sits at chat height, not coffee-table height ; for a lower-profile round table, look at the Contempo Round. If you want the patio to be where the evening ends up instead of where it started, the Cosmopolitan Round is the right decision. The table everyone pulls a chair toward becomes the reason nobody goes inside. Seven concrete finishes—White Aspen, Café Blanco, Black Lava, Smoke, Travertine, Dark Basalt, and Light Basalt—plus fire media from reflective glass and gems to creekstones and log sets, an optional glass wind guard, and fitted GFRC or vinyl covers let it match the patio you already have.
