American Fyre Designs Cosmopolitan Rectangle Gas Fire Pit

A real gas fire on the patio, with no propane tank in sight. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for ambiance and around-the-table warmth, not as a heat source. • Viewing Area: 24″ linear flame down the center of the table. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane (a standard 5-gallon propane tank fits inside the unit; tank not included). • Controls: Push-button lighting with adjustable flame height; smartphone control optional. • Fan: None Who It’s For Dinner on the patio ends when the chill rolls in, and most portable fire pits fix that with a propane bottle sitting in plain view beside them. You need a fire that lives outside like furniture , with the fuel out of sight. If you entertain outdoors and want a linear gas flame at coffee-table height—drinks on the ledge, everyone facing each other—this is your table. Pick a unit with no tank storage and you’ll spend every gathering hiding the bottle behind a planter; the Cosmopolitan Rectangle Firetable stores the tank inside the base, behind its own door . What Makes It Special The whole table is handcrafted glass fiber reinforced concrete —concrete blended with alkali-resistant glass fiber, built to sit out in the weather year-round. It reads as cast stone, not as an appliance, and the stainless steel burner runs a ribbon of flame down the center that adjusts on demand: down to a glow for dinner, up when the evening cools. The access door has a retention frame that holds a full propane tank inside the unit , so nothing sits beside the table but chairs. Add the optional FyreStarter control—an upgrade that lets you run the fire from your phone, with two USB ports built in for charging—and the table becomes the most useful outlet on the patio; it does require household power. Possible Downsides • Smartphone control is an optional upgrade , not included, and requires household power run to the table. • The glass wind guard is a separate accessory , not included with the table. • Fire media is sold separately —the table ships without glass, stones, or logs, so plan on choosing a media set with it. If you want a real gas fire on the patio with the propane tank out of sight, the Cosmopolitan Rectangle is the right decision. The table with the fire becomes where every evening outside ends up. The Cosmopolitan Rectangle comes in seven concrete finishes—White Aspen, Café Blanco, Black Lava, Smoke, Travertine, Dark Basalt, and Light Basalt—for natural gas or propane, with media choices from reflective Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems, and Diamond Nuggets to creekstones, Fyre Spheres, and log sets, plus a matching concrete or fitted vinyl cover.
