American Fyre Designs Contempo Square Gas Fire Pit

The fire that keeps everyone outside after the sun goes down. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for ambiance, not as a heat source. • Viewing Area: 12″ open fire at the center of a 44″ square top. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Controls: Push-button igniter with adjustable flame height; smartphone control optional. • Fan: None Who It’s For Dinner on the patio is great until the evening cools off, and then everyone drifts back inside. You need a fire at table height that people can gather around from every side , with a place to set a drink while they do. If you want a modern centerpiece—clean lines, a cast-concrete look, open flame in the middle—the Contempo Square Firetable is the one to look at. Choose a basic fire ring instead and you get the flame without the table that keeps people seated around it. What Makes It Special The whole table is handcrafted from glass fiber reinforced concrete—the look of solid cast concrete, blended with alkali-resistant glass fiber and acrylic polymer so it’s built to live outside year-round . It’s furniture and fire feature in one piece, not a burner dropped into a frame. The top sits at chat height, so it works the way a coffee table does—drinks, plates, and elbows all have somewhere to land. The adjustable flame height means you can turn it down to a glow while people are eating and turn it up when the night gets cold, and if the flame ever goes out, the gas shuts off on its own. Add the FyreStarter option and you control the fire from your phone —on, off, high, low—with two USB ports built in for charging phones or an outdoor speaker. That version needs a 120V outdoor outlet. Possible Downsides • No room inside for a propane tank —propane setups pair it with a separate matching tank/end table. • Smartphone control requires a 120V outdoor outlet ; without power nearby, the push-button version is the one to order. • The glass wind guard is a separate accessory , worth adding on a breezy patio. If you want the patio to be where the evening ends instead of where it starts, the Contempo Square Firetable is the right decision. The table everyone pulls a chair up to stays full long after dinner is over. It comes in seven finishes—White Aspen, Café Blanco, Black Lava, Smoke, Travertine, Dark Basalt, and Light Basalt—with fire media ranging from reflective glass, gems, and diamond nuggets to river stones, creekstones, lava media, and log sets, plus a matching concrete cover and glass wind guard.
