American Fyre Designs Bordeaux Rectangle Fire Bowl Gas Fire Pit

An open fire that makes the patio the room everyone ends up in. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Designed for outdoor ambiance, not as a heat source. • Viewing Area: 24″ line of flame, open on all sides. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Controls: Battery spark ignition with adjustable flame height; smartphone control optional. • Fan: None Who It’s For A patio evening ends when the chill shows up, and a portable propane bowl dragged out of the garage never quite fits the space you built. You need a fire feature that belongs to the patio the way the fireplace belongs to the living room . If you want an open gas fire that starts with the turn of a knob and looks like part of the landscape, the Bordeaux Rectangle Fire Bowl is the one. A portable fire pit will do the job; this is the one guests assume was part of the design. What Makes It Special The Bordeaux is handcrafted from glass fiber reinforced concrete —durable concrete blended with alkali-resistant glass fiber and acrylic polymer, made to sit outside through every season. The flared rectangle shape reads as sculpture in daylight and as the centerpiece after dark. Under the media sits a stainless steel burner with a two-foot line of flame you can dial up or down —low for dinner conversation, higher when the night turns cold. The wide open bowl takes whatever look you want on top: reflective glass, river stones, lava, or a full log set. Add the optional ignition upgrade and you can run the fire from your phone —on, off, high, low—with two USB ports built in for charging phones or outdoor speakers. Possible Downsides • No room inside for a propane tank; propane setups pair with the matching tank/end table or a 10 ft extension hose. • The optional smartphone ignition needs household power at the fire bowl; the standard control does not. If you want the patio fire to look like it was designed for the space instead of parked on it, the Bordeaux Rectangle Fire Bowl is the right decision. The corner of the yard becomes the place everyone drifts to after dinner. The Bordeaux Rectangle comes in seven finishes—White Aspen, Café Blanco, Black Lava, Smoke, Travertine, Dark Basalt, and Light Basalt—with fire media from Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems, and Diamond Nuggets to creekstones, lava, spheres, and gas log sets, plus the optional smartphone ignition upgrade and a fitted vinyl cover.
