Basic Product Info
More Product Info

A medium log fire that fits where a deep fireplace won’t. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: Approx. 750–1,500 sq ft • Efficiency: 71% (steady state) • Viewing Area: 451 sq in • Fuel: Natural gas. • Controls: Handheld remote with thermostat, included on the upgraded version and optional on the basic one; wall thermostat optional. • Fan: Optional Who It’s For A family room with an interior wall or a tight chase often cannot take a full-depth fireplace, so people settle for a small one. You need a medium fire in a slim body. If you want a mid-size traditional gas fire for a shallow wall, with a faceplate or louvers to finish it, the Panorama P36 is the one. Downsize to a small unit and the room feels under-fired every winter. What Makes It Special The P36 keeps the Panorama’s slim body at a medium size, so a shallow wall still gets a fire sized for a family room, framed by a Vignette faceplate in black, platinum, or tuscan sunset, or by black louvers. Pick brick in rustic brown, old town red, or herringbone, or a black reflective enamel panel, and add the Heat Wave duct to send some heat to the next room. The basic version keeps a small pilot flame lit year-round; the upgraded version lights only when you turn it on. Possible Downsides • The basic version burns a pilot flame year-round ; the upgraded version does not. • The fan is optional , not included. • The slim body gives the logs less depth ; for a fuller log picture, see the Panorama P36 Deep. If your wall is shallow but your room is not, the Panorama P36 is the right decision. The family room gets the fire it was always supposed to have. The P36 takes a Vignette faceplate in black, platinum, or tuscan sunset or black louvers, brick panels in rustic brown, old town red, or herringbone, a black reflective enamel panel, an ember upgrade, a fan kit, wall thermostats, and the Heat Wave duct.
