Ortal Wilderness Stand Alone Three Sided 75 Gas Fireplace Gas Stove

The fire that doesn’t need a wall built around it. Quick Facts • Viewing Area: Glass on three sides. • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Controls: Handheld remote with thermostat and timer; wall switch and app control optional. • Fan: None Who It’s For Some rooms want a fire, but the house never got one—and building a fireplace into a wall means framing, finish work, and weeks of your living room as a job site. You need a fireplace that stands on its own . If you want the presence of a stove and the ease of gas, in the room this season instead of after a remodel, the Ortal Wilderness Stand Alone Three Sided 75 is built for exactly that. Choose a built-in instead and the fire comes with a construction project; choose this and it arrives on its own legs. What Makes It Special The Wilderness burner is the reason this doesn’t look like a gas appliance. Detailed ceramic logs sit in the flame the way wood sits in a hearth, so what you see from the couch is a stack of burning logs , not a row of gas jets. Two log styles—dark brown and chopped wood—let you pick how the fire reads in your room. Because it stands free with glass on three sides , the fire is visible from nearly every seat—there’s no wall swallowing two-thirds of the view. And the remote does the thinking for you: set a temperature and the flame adjusts on its own to hold it, or set the timer and let it shut itself off. A fireplace shouldn’t need tending to be enjoyed. Possible Downsides • No fan option, so it warms the space around it rather than pushing air down a hallway. • Two log styles —dark brown or chopped wood; there is no other interior option for this model. • The decorative base is optional, not included. If you want a real-looking fire without building a wall around it, the Wilderness Stand Alone Three Sided 75 is the right decision. The corner it stands in becomes the room everyone ends up in. It runs on natural gas or propane, with your choice of a dark brown or chopped wood ceramic log set and an optional decorative base.
