Napoleon Havelock Elite GDS50 (Black) Gas Stove

Stove heat for the room that never had a fireplace. Quick Facts • Fuel: Natural gas or propane. • Viewing Area: 14 × 23 1/2 in. • Fan: Included Who It’s For Some rooms never got a fireplace—no masonry opening to work with, and no appetite for opening up a wall to build one. So the fire ends up in a different room than the one your family actually uses. You need a fire that stands on its own . If you want the presence of a stove with the ease of gas, the Havelock Elite is the one to look at. Choose a built-in instead and the project grows: framing, finish work, and a wall that comes apart before anything goes in. What Makes It Special Freestanding stoves are usually the strongest heaters in any lineup, because the whole body radiates heat into the room —not just the glass on the front. Sit near the Havelock Elite while it runs and you feel warmth coming off it the way the sun warms your face . The included fan pushes that warmth to the far side of the room when you want it, and stays off when you’d rather have quiet. And it does all of that without the wood. The fire starts when you want it and stops when you’re done —no hauling, no ash, no tending. It runs on natural gas or propane, and a conversion kit switches it from one to the other if your fuel ever changes. Possible Downsides • The arched glass door is an option, not standard equipment. • The wall mount control is an add-on, not included. • It needs a gas line run to where it stands. That’s licensed work, and it belongs in the installation scope from the first quote. If you want real fire and real heat in a room that never had a fireplace, the Havelock Elite is the right decision. The room it stands in becomes the room the house lives in. The Havelock Elite takes your choice of feet or a pedestal base, an optional arched glass door, Ambient-Glow Embers, and a wall mount control, so it fits the room you already have.
