More Product Info

A six-foot fire that runs on the outlet you already have. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 0–500 sq ft • Viewing Area: 62¾” wide • Fuel: Electric. • Controls: Hidden touch controls plus a multi-function remote; built-in timer up to 8 hours. • Fan: Included Who It’s For There’s a wall in your house that would be better with a fire on it, but the house never made it easy—no gas line nearby, no chimney, no appetite for a construction project. You need a fireplace that runs on a standard household outlet . If you want a wide, modern fire under the TV, across a bedroom wall, or in a condo where gas was never an option, the Dimplex Sierra 72 is the one. Choose it and there’s fire—with or without heat—any night of the year; keep waiting on a bigger project and the wall stays bare another winter. What Makes It Special The flame and the heater run separately. Turn on flames without heat , cycle through the flame color themes and eight ember bed accent colors, and adjust the brightness to suit the room. It’s a fire you’ll actually use in July, not just January. The look isn’t fixed, either. Three media beds come in the box—logs, pebbles, and large-and-small crystals—so the fire can go from rustic to contemporary in an afternoon. The glass stays cool to the touch , safe for kids and pets, and the touch controls and temperature display disappear into the glass when you’re not using them. When you do want warmth, the fan-forced ceramic heater covers up to 1,000 square feet —enough to carry the room it’s in or back up the furnace. And it goes in three ways: build it into the wall, hang it on the wall, or set it on the included feet, then plug it into a standard household outlet. Possible Downsides • Everything runs on household power —if the electricity is out, there’s no flame and no heat. • Driftwood log sets and specialty ember beds are optional extras ; the box includes crystals, logs, and pebbles. • One-year limited warranty. If you want a wide, modern fire without a gas line or a chimney, the Sierra 72 is the right decision. The wall you walk past every day becomes the room everyone ends up in. The included media beds—large/small crystals, logs, and pebbles—can be swapped for optional tumbled glass, river rock, black rock, or clear acrylic crystal ember beds, and Beach Driftwood, Driftwood, or Thin Split Logs faux wood log sets.
