More Product Info

Put a fire back in the fireplace you stopped using—tonight, from a wall outlet. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 150–250 sq ft approx. 400–500 sq ft—one room • Efficiency: 100%—all the electricity you pay for becomes heat and light in the room. • Viewing Area: 20″ log set • Fuel: Electric. • Controls: Remote with adjustable flame brightness and flicker; flames run with or without heat. • Fan: Included—hidden fan-forced heater. Who It’s For There’s a wood-burning fireplace in the room, and it sits cold—the hauling, the smoke, and the ash made real fires more work than they’re worth. So the focal point of the room is an empty box. You need a fire you can switch on , not build. If you want flames in that fireplace tonight, from a full grate of life-size hardwood-cast logs that plugs into a standard household outlet , the Revillusion 20 is the one. Go the gas-log route instead and you’re waiting on a gas line and a licensed installer before you see a flame. What Makes It Special Instead of the mirror most electric logs rely on, the Revillusion uses a partially frosted flame panel, so you see through the flames to the back of your own firebox —the masonry, the shadows, the depth a real fire has. You see the fire, not your lamp reflected in the glass. The flames run with or without the heat, so the fire works 365 days a year —a July evening gets the glow without the warmth. When the room does need warming, a fan-forced ceramic heater hidden in the base does the work, and the heater runs without the flames too. Brightness and flicker adjust from the remote, so the fire suits the room instead of overpowering it. Possible Downsides • No power, no fire. It runs on a wall outlet, so an outage means no flames and no heat. • Sized for one room. The hidden heater is built for the space it sits in, not the whole floor. • The Ember Mat is sold separately. The glowing ash bed shown in front of the grate is an optional add-on, not included. If you want the fireplace working again without firewood or a gas line, the Revillusion 20 is the right decision. The room with the cold, empty hearth becomes the room everyone ends up in. The Revillusion 20 pairs with an optional Ember Mat—a bed of glowing embers that sits in front of the grate to finish the hearth.
