More Product Info

Eight feet of fire, indoors or out. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 0–500 sq ft • Viewing Area: 98¾” wide—more than eight feet of fire. • Fuel: Electric. • Controls: Phone app, remote control, and hidden built-in touch controls with thermostat and timer. • Fan: Included Who It’s For There’s a long wall in the great room—or a covered patio—where a fire belongs, but a gas line was never in the plans and most fireplaces stop earning their keep once the weather warms up. You need a fire that runs on electricity alone, spans the wall, and keeps its flames going with the heat switched off. If you want a statement fire for a big room or a sheltered outdoor space , the Dimplex Ignite Evolve 100 was built for exactly that. Pick a standard-width unit instead and the fire reads as a window in the wall; this one is the wall. What Makes It Special The Evolve is certified for outdoor use under a sheltering overhang, so the same fire that anchors a living room can anchor a covered deck—dinner outside in October with eight feet of flame behind the table. The fire itself is Dimplex’s Multi-Fire effect: LED flames with a layered color treatment that gives the fire real depth over a bed of acrylic crystals, tumbled glass, and driftwood. Flame speed, color, and ember bed adjust independently or through seven preset themes , and an ambient light sensor brightens or dims the firebox to suit the room on its own. With the heat off, the flames run all year for pennies a night. When you want warmth, the built-in heater covers up to 1,000 square feet of supplemental heat, with a thermostat and a timer that runs up to eight hours. It builds fully into the wall for an edge-to-edge glass front, so tile or stone finish work is part of the install. Possible Downsides • The heat is supplemental —comfort warmth for the area it’s in, not a primary or whole-house heat source. • No power, no fire —like every electric fireplace, it makes neither flame nor heat in an outage. • The outdoor warranty is 1 year (5 years indoors), and outdoor installs must sit under a protective overhang to keep it. If you want a fire that spans the whole wall—indoors or out on a covered patio—the Ignite Evolve 100 is the right decision. The patio you close up every fall becomes the room the evening ends in. The look is yours to set: optional ember beds in tumbled glass, river rock, black rock, and acrylic crystal; driftwood, beach driftwood, and thin split log sets; a linear moulded faux-wood bed; and an optional trim kit for drywall and tile surfaces.
